Celebrating the Edge

This design re imagines the southern edge of Portland State University’s campus, an area once neglected and overshadowed by a noisy freeway, with limited pedestrian access and underdeveloped public spaces. Through sculptural design elements, the project seeks to transform this forgotten space into a vibrant, welcoming destination. It enhances safety, fosters a sense of community, and creates an engaging environment that better utilizes the university’s resources for students and visitors alike.
